BarnumPT offers flexible options to customize how your screenshots are handled. Whether you want to change the file type, or the save location, or automate certain actions, here’s how you can adjust the settings to fit your workflow.
Customizing Screenshot Settings

Default Download Directory
You can select a specific folder within your Downloads directory to save your screenshots. Note that the folder must already exist inside the Downloads directory. Additionally, you can choose between PNG or JPG file formats for your screenshots. -
Auto Download
Enable Auto Download if you want your screenshots to be saved automatically after you capture them, without any additional steps. -
Auto Open
If you want to immediately view your screenshots after capturing them, toggle on Auto Open. This will open the image in the Image Viewer as soon as the screenshot is taken. -
Save As Dialog
Want to rename your screenshots before saving? Enable the Save As Dialog option, and you’ll be prompted to change the file name before the screenshot is saved.
How to Access the Settings
You can change these settings inside the BarnumPT web extension. Click the Hat icon in your browser toolbar to open the extension and navigate to the settings area to adjust your screenshot preferences.
