How to Use the Auto Refresher

Tired of manually refreshing a page to check your latest stats after launching your product or service? BarnumPT’s Auto Refresher tool lets you automate page refreshes at any interval you choose, whether it’s every 10 seconds, 5 minutes, or longer. 

Steps to Use the Auto Refresher

1. Open the BarnumPT Extension
   Click the Hat icon in your browser toolbar to open the BarnumPT popup.

2. Select the Auto Refresh Tool
   Choose the Auto Refresh option to activate the tool. A control box will appear at the bottom center of the current active tab.
   
   

Setting the Refresh Interval

1. Choose Your Interval
   Use the control box to set the refresh interval. You can switch between seconds, minutes, or hours to customize the time between each page refresh.

2. Pause the Auto Refresh
   If you need to take a break or pause the refresh temporarily, you can hit the Pause button to stop the process until you’re ready to resume.
   
   

How to Close the Auto Refresher

• Click the “X” Button
  To stop the auto-refresh, simply click the X button in the control box.

• Remove URL Parameter
  You can also stop the auto-refresh by removing ?ptautorefresh=true from the URL. Re-adding this parameter will enable it again.
