Live Drawing

Imagine being able to annotate, highlight, and doodle directly on any web page, turning your browser into a dynamic canvas. This is exactly what the Live Drawing feature of BarnumPT enables you to do! Plus, you can save your drawings and return to them later!

Step 1: Open the BarnumPT Toolbelt

First, you'll need to access the BarnumPT toolset. To do this, click the Hat icon located in your browser toolbar. This will open the BarnumPT popup, where you can access the various tools.

Step 2: Select the Live Drawing Tool

Once the BarnumPT popup is open, click the Live Drawing button. This action activates the drawing tool, allowing you to click and drag to start drawing on the web page.

Step 3: Customize Your Drawing

To suit your specific needs, you can adjust the brush settings:

  • Brush Size
    • Choose from three different sizes to make your annotations clear.
  • Color
    • Select a color that stands out or matches your branding.
  • Line Type
    • Opt for a solid line, dotted line, or use the highlight feature to emphasize key areas.
  • Save or Clear
    • Save your drawing for future reference or clear the canvas if you want to start over. If you make a mistake, use the eraser to correct it.

Step 4: Draw and Be Inspired!

With your settings in place, you're ready to draw. Highlight important text, draw arrows to point out key sections, or doodle to get your creative juices flowing.

  • Screen Recording
    • Use the Live Drawing feature in conjunction with screen recording software to create engaging tutorials or presentations for clients.
  • Collaborate in Real-Time
    • During virtual meetings, share your screen and use Live Drawing to visually communicate ideas, making remote collaboration more effective.
  • Organize Your Thoughts
    • Utilize the tool to jot down quick notes or reminders directly on web pages you frequently visit, helping to keep your workflow organized.
